Jiangzhou
Union Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, Located at Matou Town, Ruichang City,
Jiangxi Province, which is coming into being and reforming from
Jiangzhou Shipyard, the subordinate of China State Shipbuilding
Corporation (CSSC), and now is a joint-stock modern shipbuilding
enterprise, after re-organizing, Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding
Co., Ltd is entering into the shipbuilding market with new feature
and ready to provide good service and higher quality for new and
old customer.
Our
company situated by the well-known Lushan Mountain, it is about
60 kilometers to Jiujiang city and about 200 kilometers to Changbei
airport. Therefore the transportation is very convenient.
Our
company has 800 staffs including about 100 engineers and technicians,
and owns more than 2000 sets various machinery and equipment,
such as: a floating dock with lifting capacity of 6500 metric
tons, a steel pretreatment line with the capacity of 2000 tons
per month, two digital controlled cutters, a 15m long shaft lathe,
a 1250 tons oil press and intermediate frequency bending machine.
The company also owns three large indoor workshops of more than
10000 square meters and one large indoor berth with the size 36m
X 220m, all the hull erection and welding job could be carried
on inside.
Our
company has its own design & technology department, material
testing laboratory, welding laboratory, metering department, computer
center and other scientific research departments. It has the ability
to design and build various kinds of ships up to 20000 DWT.
Jiangzhou
Union Shipbuilding Company inherited all the assets and shipbuilding
ability from Jiangzhou Shipyard, since 1974, the Jiangzhou Shipyard
has built and delivered more than 200 vessels according to the
regulations and rules of many international classification societies,
such as: CCS, ABS, LR, BV and GL etc. The main ships: 230TEU container
vessels exported to Singapore and one to Hong Kong, 4800dwt multipurpose
cargo ships exported to Germany, 16000dwt crude oil tanker, 374TEU
container vessel, 670TEU/8000dwt/12000dwt Multi-purpose cargo
vessel.
In
1992, Jiangzhou Shipyard took the lead in signing the shipbuilding
contract with foreign clients and successfully delivered according
to the Shipowner’s requirement. It set the pace of exporting
the vessel in domestic middle shipyards.
In
September of 2000, the Shipyard obtained the ISO9002 authentication
of the quality system.
Our
company has advanced management system and set the function department
according to the actual requirements of the business and construction,
and therefore the efficiency has highly improved. It has established
a complete quality control and inspection system. The company
has adopted flexible business policy and employing system, taking
the market as the guidance and fully meeting the shipowner’s
requirements.
